Chair treatments extend your event design beyond the table. They can add elegance, drama, fun, and playfulness.  At Table Toppers we have  custom chair treatments and in-stock chair treatments of all types, from crop tops and cushions to full covers and bows. Here is a sampling.

Don’t forget, when a room is set and the dining tables are ready to receive your guests, the chairs are in place.  Think about how the back of the chair will impact your look.

Linens for a Beach Wedding

Monday, April 9th, 2012

So you have your heart set on a beach wedding.   As you set out to choose your décor, remember the importance of table linens. Tablecloths, chair covers, napkins, flowers, lighting and props all work together.  If you are thinking about eliminating the linen to save money…big mistake.  Linen, dollar for dollar, gives you the biggest visual impact.  Below are some examples of the perfect pairing of fabrics in both remote beachfront escapes and gorgeous high end hotels.  In both venues, the linens were essential to the design.

The White Elephant Hotel was the scene of this picture perfect day on Nantucket (above).  Event planner, Linda Matzkin, from Hopple Popple designed custom linens for the venue.  Lighting design by Suzanne B. Lowell Lighting Design, Flowers by Columbine Floral Design.

Event planner Linda Matzkin from Hopple Popple  integrated traditional dining tables and chairs to the unspoiled beauty of a pristine Caribbean beach (shown above).  To dress the tables in this natural environment, we used an embroidered coral patterned fabric woven with 100% flax linen.   Guests experienced the comfort of having traditional tables and chairs while enjoying fine dining on a spectacular beach.

As we bid you adieu…. study the best Bon Voyage Dinner ever (shown above).  Simple and fun, these family style dining tables pop right off the sand.  Periwinkle, Lime and Grotto Blue cotton linen with alternating dinner napkins set the tone.   Hopple Popple  thought of everything guests could need to enjoy one last night in paradise.  A beautifully designed, complete beach wedding weekend.

Linens for a Country Wedding

Monday, April 9th, 2012

Many of our brides plan their weddings in country settings, inspired by unspoiled landscapes, natural beauty and farm stands spilling over with fresh produce.  Table linens are often fine natural textured fabrics, vintage lace and flax linen.

Together with Marc Hall at Winston Flowers, we designed chair covers made of rough cut muslin draped around folding chairs and tied with bailing twine. Family style tables running parallel under the rough hewn cross beams in a barn may fit more guests inside your dining area.
